Floyd vs Hopkins would break PPV records also but that doesnt mean the fight should happend. Infact, Williams was just talking about fighting Hopkins in the future and now you think him and Pac could be a match? Williams by slaughter if this fight ever happened. Pac might get lucky since Williams struggled with the southpaw Quintana but I cant see it
I think most would watch and might be a revenue booster for boxing...
what you guys think?
Williams doesn't draw the fans, he has to jump up and down the weight divisions to get a decent paycheck. If he was a big draw opponents would come up and down the weight scale to go looking for him. Williams brings nothing to the table other than danger. If I was Pacquiao's manager I wouldn't go anywhere near Williams.

Outside of a mid-sized group of serious (including some nuthuggers) fans, Williams is lacking some support in the mainstream public. But, the matchup is interesting, we have seen Paul being outboxed by a slower boxer in Quintana, Pacquiao could dance around and use his speed, but he won't "no mas" Williams. He really shouldn't fight any welterweight, Manny can't hurt the elite 147s. I guess the marketing catch would be based on the David vs. Goliath perspective.

The fans don't like Mayweather nor Hopkins. They would indeed break PPV records for the lowest sales in the history of PPV's.
