Darchinyan was born in a former Soviet republic, the Armenian SSR. He does live in Australia now, but to many people he's still Armenian.
Vitali is Ukrainian, you're the only boxing fan on earth who doesn't know that! He even ran for mayor of Kiev last year. He spends time in the US and Germany, but his home is the Ukraine.
Calzaghe may not stay retired any more than Floyd Mayweather. Don't be too shocked to see him back later this year.Last edited by The Hammer; 03-23-2009, 10:00 PM.

Vitali is not American, just because someone now lives in the US
does not make them American, even if they're a citizen of that
country. He has lived most of his life in the Ukraine and Germany.

I joke with Wlad Owns, but hes free to support whatever group of fighters he wants, for whatever reason he wants.
as for the nationality part, I just call a fighter whatever they call themselves. although sometimes, it seems like fighters cant make up their made what nationality they are either, haha.
like Ola Afolabi. hes sporting british trunks and stuff, but I think he reps himself as American I think. hmm. dunno. Ill just call him both.
