it was against eamon magee.not a great fighter but a tricky southpaw who gave hatton problems by waiting for him 2 lunge in.not a flash KD he wobbled hatton on more than one occasion

ye i agree.both chins will be tested in this fight,hattons more but pacquiaos is in question

Fair enough brit fan, but pacs no mayweather but he is elusive though so he can avoid some of those shots, while hattons gonna get hit for sure its just a matter of being able to take a couple to give some.

thats always been hattons way,its worked everytime at 140 but this is a huge test and IF he does beat pacquiao it will be far from easy

So does this mean Hatton got knocked down twice in his career, and Manny got knocked down twice also?

it'll start off very cautious with both fighters showing respect for each other


then somewhere around the 3rd or 4th, both fighters will realize that the speed differential is HUGE


hatton panics and reverts back to his old style and PAC begins his highlight reel


a bloody hatton eats a 10 punch combo, slumps over the ropes and the ref stops the fight in the 8th


PAC calls out PBF

..... and then, you wake up.

Hatton is gonna catch Pac at some point in this fight - hes not exactly hard to hit - and Pac's confidence will fall when he feels the power of the bigger man. When this happens, Pac will start to retreat more often and he doesn't like fighting on the back foot. Hatton will pressure him onto the ropes and deliver some heavy body shots, wearing Pac down, reducing his speed and then Hatton will deliver some big shots to eventually KO Pac.

Pac's only chance will be to try and be as elusive as Mayweather and just catch Hatton on the counter. That's not Pac's style and he will never be able to do it as good as Mayweather did.
