Kostya Tszyu- Humble, and had a brick in his gloves. Plus he didnt look like a fighter. He just looked like some goofy dude that would knock you the **** out in a heartbeat. Plus he beat guys I didnt think he could beat. One of the better fighters of the past 20 years.

Marco Antonio Barrera- Just a bad dude who looked damn near perfect when he was on. He fought some great guys and always put on a show. Plus he retired Naz which makes me a fan for life.

Eric Morales- If you had to define "fighter" he is it. He had the talent to beat you without having to brawl, but he did it anyways. He could be winning (like the first Pac fight) and still go toe to toe in the 12th and risk getting koed just to show he wouldnt back down. Plus he hit a guy 3 times on the way down one time. My jaw was on the floor.

Diego Corrales- I just liked the guy (other then the wife beating thing) and he was another one of those guys that looked like a stick but could punch like a mother. Plus he was in wars. He always gave you your moneys worth.

Oscar De La Hoya- Young Oscar fought everybody, and he gave you a ****ing fight almost every time out. He came to fight. Win or lose.

Mike Tyson- Young Tyson was King Kong when I was a kid. I had Punch Out and looked up to the guy. His fights were an event and he just seemed like the most powerful, unbeatable force in the world when I was a kid. He was an icon like Jordan. We dont have those anymore.

Gatti- I miss that guy. He never had an easy fight and did more with the small amount of talent he had then anyone else could have. He had heart and no quit in him

Edit: I have to add Holy. That guy fought EVERYONE and went to war with much bigger, stronger guys. That guy is a legend in my eyes.

As for Hopkins : With him, it's just tactics. He's not a hothead like Marco. Everything he does, and everything he says is either done with regards to the press, or in an attempt to rattle his opponets : to get that mental advantage.

And it works. It worked on Wright and it worked on Tito.

And please, don't tell me you're one of those people who thinks Hopkins should've stayed in Puerto Rico to fight 150 random Puerto Ricans all at once........
That always cracks me up...like he should have pulled a Scarface or something.

The One the Only Ricky HattonThe guy is just a very scrappy fighter...hes a blue collar fighter with a blue collar following, and never gets enough credit in my view...and his fan base makes the sport of boxing better. Just a real donw to earth guy with no flash or glam

Roy Jones Jr. - I was a big fan of rap back when I was in high school, and that coupled with playing FNR3 for the first time, made me select RJJ as my character. I liked the game so much that I decided to download the two fights that were in the ESPNClassics section of the game, so my first two fights I ever watched were Jones Jr. vs. Hopkins and Jones Jr. vs. Toney. I'm shocked I stuck with the sport with that as my introduction. I watched the Tarver trilogy right after. I then realized that I really thought Roy was kind of an idiot when he talked, and I didn't really like him as much as I thought.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. - I saw the Baldomir fight when I was playing beer pong at a friend's house, and I thought it was hilarious that Mayweather came to the ring as a gladiator, and dressed in pink. His ****iness and swagger REALLY increased my interest in the sport. I was a Floyd fan only first, and then a boxing fan second. His retirement without fighting Cotto turned me off to him.

Winky Wright - He was the boxer I liked solely after Mayweather. I loved the sport, but he was the only fighter I could really cheer for with all of my heart. His defensive guard is just ****ing tight too.

Erik Morales - The fighter that showed me what someone who gives 100% of their life and dedication to boxing looks like. Always fit, always taking challenges, always fighting his hardest, always being the best he could be. I love Erik Morales as a fighter. He is the true epitome of what a fighter should be.

Marco Antonio Barrera is a *****.

Good info, but did you really need that last sentence?

Bet you wouldn't tell Marco that to his face.

                      Lol.

                      I ****ing hate Barrera man.

Your first post about Barrera not letting people cross the line is bull****... he was the one who seemed to push people past their line.

I mean, really... how much of an idiot takes swings at people for things they say. He threw the first punch at McKinney, he threw the first punch at Morales, and he acted like a right **** when Morales tried to congratulate him after their first fight.

He inspired me that evil exists in boxing.
