in his last fight with malignaggi, he hardly came rushing in....he let paulie come running in and caught him with a right numerous times...and he also set up a jab followed up by a straight right...sure hatton is no technical fighter, but i think hes boxing abilities wil suprise some people

He has 4 weeks with Floyd in Las Vegas, but is currently training with him in Manchester now.

I think people will be suprised by what Hatton does in this fight. He's trying lots of different things in his training, including southpaw pads, and will really be trying to make a statement this time round. He won't be doing his usual jump in punching, hug, seperate stuff that he has done in the past. But he's not gonna be stationary, slow, punching bags like David Diaz and ODLH were...

exactly, plus hatton has always had good movement around the ring, hatton only has had problems when he comes in with no head movement, something floyd, sr. has been working with...i see hatton's movement giving roach fits in the corner

hatton looked good for a few rounds until he hurt malignaggi. then he reverted to type.

too many left crosses from pac and hatton will revert back to his old style.

but does roach really want pac to get into a brawl fest with hatton?....they dont seem like the fight pac would be comfortable at? if hatton showed some boxing skills it would throw off pac a little bit...i think roach has no respect for hatton's boxing techniques myself based on the pre-fight interviews from roach

Hatton is gonna get picked off over and over if he tries to box with Pacquiao. Pac's handspeed is too much for Hatton! Hatton will revert to his old aggressive mauling style after a couple rounds of getting hit clean with regularity. Hatton's only chance is too basically wrestle pacquiao wearing him down.

Yup, once Hatton feels that left hand, it's Barney time.

people let pac come running in with the left, and hatton will catch him...that will be the end of the power left...hatton is no de la hoya, thats just going to stand there and get hit by a left all night...get real

That's all well and good but the problem Pac is going to have is trying to get the space to unleash his punches. Ricky will not be standing off Manny at range, he will use his quick footwork to cut the ring down on Manny so fast, he wont have time to set himself to put to many meaty punches together.
