Article: Pacquiao to face an "agressive, defensive, technical" Hatton

hatton gets no respect in the forums...it would be cool if people would say how great pac, which he is...but to say hatton wont connect or i hear a lot about how pac is just going to ko hatton, just doesnt make any sense when you think about itComment

Ask yourself. When was the last time that Pac was forced to fight going backwards? Pac loves to get into a rhythmn, rock side-to-side, and shoot that killer left.
Ricky will step to his left all night. Digging left hooks to the body, and following that with right hands. All Hatton has to do is NOT fight like a Mexican.
Pac isn't Floydian in his skillset. You won't be seeing perfectly timed check hooks. Manny has the skills of a speedy slickster, but the approach of a brawler. And that will be his undoing. Watch.
Hatton 116-112...or late stoppage.Comment

Makes perfect sense, Paulie stood infront of Hatton like a tard. Do you think Pacquiao is going to stay still and let hatton tee off on him? Hatton comes forwards presses the fight and gets countered all night long until he hits the canvasComment

Lets face it, You can't get to Hatton's level without having the ablity to box, its just impossible.
Hatton can box, its just his exposure in america has been fights in which he mauls and tries to 'steamroll' his opponents.
And thats why he gets slated on here so much.Comment

see i dont get this...paulie is did exactly waht pac did come running in and trying to be cute and slick, and hes going to get clocked a few times, but i do think pac has enough sense to stop that unlike paulie did....and then this will force roaches game plan out the door...telling pac to make it fight, hoping it will be like marquez, but wont happen because pac's power vs hatton's power is bad news for the pacman....thats not the fight he wants and roach knows thisComment

He's still the same fighter he always was, and when he's tested in that ring, he's going to resort back to familiar tactics.
This boxing thing he's doing, it's nothing new. Senior didn't teach him that, Ricky has always been a pretty decent boxer when he wanted to box. Just watch the first 6 rounds of his fight with Juan Urango, he does everything in that fight that he did against Malignaggi.
He boxes his way in, he uses good head movement, cuts the ring off well, all of that he learned on his own.
Senior has nothing to do with it.
But Manny is going to TKO him in 9.Comment

I know you're a Ricky fan, so I'm not going to say put this as easily as I can : Ricky hasn't learned anything new by being with Floyd Sr.

You do realize that Mayweather has hand problems and he stopped Ricky Hatton. Or is that only going to be blamed on the fact that Ricky was fighting at 147 and not 140.Comment
