He took huge bombs from plenty of opponents, and a lot of those punches would have KO'd most other Super Middleweights easy.

Some of the things you say are downright ******, and I don't mean to offend when I say that, either. Your hate blinds you. Be real. Stop talking nonsense.
Yeah but he got dropped by bums and senior citizens.

I'll be honest, I only voted for Toney because I'm a Calzaghe hater. Realistically I think it'd be a hell of a fight, though!

Anyone listing the reason for Toney winning as things just like, Toney's a beast, really are missing the point that Calzaghe has taken hard shots of roughly as tough guys before and been ok.

No ones steam rolling through Calzaghe, stop giving guys the benefit of the doubt because they're tough and talk a lot. Toney's good, and probably woulda beaten Eubank and Benn but even those aren't definite. He simply isn't beating Calzaghe, and is probably the only one of the 3 whom wouldn't admit he'd lose. That's because he say's he'd beat Superman, and most people want to believe that too, and would vote as such.
He is NOT more adaptable than Toney. JT is slick and can still brawl. In his prime he even used his legs. He had one hell of a punch at 168- moreso than Calzaghe. AND he is the one with the better chin. Those flurrying, pitter patter punches would get countered by JT, especially when Calz jumps in like he inevitably would. Toney's timing and counters could quite possibly stop Calzaghe.

Tough one two of my favourite fighters but i got to say calzaghe gets this one at super mid - light heavy but toney wins if they fight at middlewieght or anything lower then super mid.
Calzaghe would only win on work rate because it would be like the hopkins fight except james toney would be more dangerous and more accurate i think he drops calzaghe once but then calzaghe stays away to take a SD or a close UD.
James toney just doesnt punch enough at super middlewieght and calzaghe has a great work rate and chin to jus take this fight.

bums. how were they, they were all world champions probably some tof the best boxers of our generation, Hopkins is still in the top ten p4p, jones may be past it but the power of the punch is the last thing to go, Mitchel was a world Champon, there aint no bums on the resume just bums looking at it with hate in mind.
