Vitali is a ****ing beast, he is much more exciting than Wlad.

Wlad used to be exciting before the whole Sanders loss and his comeback under Steward who has him extremely gunshy. Christ that one fight he literally did not throw a right hand until the midrounds of the fight!

Vitali is still in there putting on a beat down with both hands and combinations, looking for the KO, its just more exciting.

          Vitali has visibly aged, though
He's clearly lost some stamina and his reflexes are slowing
That being said, he's by far the strongest HW atm.

I'll tell you what I'm liking about Vitali now. He comes into the ring with what Emmanuel Steward used to say that Lennox Lewis came in with...a gangleader's attitute. Vitali walks around inside the ring before the fight starts like he OWNS it. And you gotta love that scowl he wears now. He seems to have developed more of a warrior's mentality at this stage of his career. He actually looks like he means it when his gameface is on.

He also looks to be pacing himself more instead of letting his fists go more often. It's like he's comfortable knowing that it only will take a few good, clean shots to break the other guy's spirit. He's got intensity without being tense.

This more relaxed version should make for a longer career.

I thought he looked slower and sluggish in the 1st 2 rounds but looked like his old self after he warmed up and adapted. his punches looked pretty quick to me after those first few awckward rounds
