Why so many people feel that Cotto has a suspect chin?

The few times he was hurt came when he was over training and draining hisself to make the 140lb limit. If you know anything about boxing weight drain and over training makes the body weak and yes that means your chin also!!!!!!

Zab Judah: This is the first fight he was STUNNED not hurt (there is a big differance. Chop Chop and Torres hurt him) he recovered very very quickly. We must not forget that Judah can crack and Judah caught Cotto flush with the counter straight and left uppercut. Cotto was STUNNED twice but ate the other few and spit it back out!!!

Shan Mosley: Cotto was eating right hands all night long and was never Staggered or hurt in the fight but Margarito was eating those same right in less rounds than Cotto and we all no what happened in that fight!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't want to hear that crap about he was hurt in the late rounds. I have the fight on tape and watched it over 20 times. Cotto knew he counldn't stop Shan plus he thought he had the fight in the bag so he decided the out box Shan for the remainder of the fight which was almost a mistake.

Margarito: Cotto was weaken to the body first before he was hurt to the chin. Plus even though not proven but we all (well most of us) feel that Margarito cheated in that fight and I don't care who you are if you get hit enough time with plaster you will go down. But even if Margarito didn't cheat in that fight, it still took him over 600 punch before Cotto took a knee. He never Knocked Cotto on his ass or even out. Cotto took a knee because he was hurt and tired!!!!!!!

So for anyone to question Cotto chin is crazy.

We talk about his chin because he's always getting hit.

Cotto has so many gaping holes in his defense that his chin will ALWAYS be there to be tested..and called into question.


You only here talk about CHINS when the subject is a guy that gets hit a LOT.

Floyd has a good chin..but people seldom mention it.

If his chin would had been suspect he would had been in the canvas more that what he has been in 34 fights wich has been once in the Ricardo Torres fight and two against Margarito but that was after a brutal beat down now where does he classified as havin a suspect chin??

If Margarito really did use plaster against Cotto, Cintron, or even Williams... Then their chins are alot better then most fighters. Well, Idk about Cintrons he went out early while Cotto went the distance before being stopped
