The swelling is just as much of a concern. I have seen several of Hatton's fights and I have been a fan for several years. He has done better with the cutting stuff since he had that surgery where they implanted those pads under the skin or whatever, but he still show damage rather easily.theres miss conceptions about this fight...hatton cut early on in his carear, in the last fight with paulie, floyd sr. said he was more concerned about swelling...and people keep saying hatton wil get caught coming in thats crap....pac is off balance lots of times when throws the big left, and i see hatton catching manny...marquez exposed this
He beat the tar out of Malinaggi, yet still showed the damage caused by the "tragic Man's" soft punches. Hatton does not use his jab enough and often throws wide with his hooks while jumping in. He improved in his last two fights with the use of the jab and more straighter punching, but he drifts back to his old ways when things don't work for him.
Pacquiao will be like a little bee in the ring and Hatton will have to chase him all night. Ricky will eat the left, I hate to say.
Maybe not, if Hatton gets in close, he definitely has the power to hurt Manny- I just don't think Hatton will be able to find him.Comment

no. i said ricky has a better chin than the de la hoya manny beat. i NEVER said through his whole career. and anyway hatton does have a good chinWhy, thank you....
Of course Manny has been KD before..
But were not talking about Manny's chin here.
We're talking about who got the better chin between Oscar and Ricky, remember.
You said ,Ricky got a better chin than Oscar.
And I say NO.
You don't know jack if you don't think so...Comment

Manny has been in some big wars with some great fighters and still looks fresh. Has 3 losses on his record.
Ricky has been knocked down once in his entire career, and lost to the prime, best P4P fighter in the world. At a higher weight, no less.
Manny has been successful under Roach's tutelage for many years.
Ricky's currently being trained by, arguably, one of the best trainers in boxing.
They're both 30 yrs old, with the edge in reach going to Manny at 2" longer.
They both have the same win/ko record at 48W 36KO's.
By all indications, this should be a pick'em fight, though Manny has been the more active one recently.
Still another month to go to decide who should be considered top dog at 140.Comment
