Rewatching Mayweather-Hatton... Hatton is partly right

Hatton is partly right about Cortez... I am actually re-watching it now (just paused for couple of minutes) and there are a lot of times that Cortez did not break the clinching if the situation favors Mayweather...

Cortez is sucks..! I am not taking anything away from PBF but Cortez sucks.. I will give Ricky a little chance on if there is a rematch and the referee is either Weeks or Bayless...

I always though that! The fight would have been closer if Cortez wasn't so ****. Not saying Hatton would have won, but he would have had more of a chance. Especially when that ridiculous point deduction took place. Hatton's gameplan went right out the window with his patience then.

Mayweather's style is all wrong for Hatton though. Coming in with no jab, hands down, chin out + fast, accurate punching = long, long night!

Hatton would've a case if the fight was won on points. The referee didn't help Money May land that sweet shot.

I totally agree... Cortez was very quick most of the time...

I'm a massive Ricky fan but think Floyd was just better then him on the night, however anyone who's seen the fight has to agree that Cortez didn't have a good fight, he split them up WAY too much and that back of the head point deduction really was a joke.

Before you jump into conclusion, I want to clear my self again...

I am not saying the Ricky would have beaten Floyd if the referee is was not Cortez... and I am not saying that Hatton is better than Floyd because we all know Floyd is better...

My point is, the fight could have gone other way if the referee was just fair and square... Ricky had a little chance but Cortez left him no chance at all...

Cortez is the ref Hatton wanted.

And even if he did favor Floyd.

It's not like Ricky never had a ref favor him...can you say DAVE PARRIS..??

                LOL

It didn't help Hatton's case having the rep of holding and hitting. That said i think Cortez did nothing to hurt Hatton at all, Hatton was outclassed and what made him lose his patience was feeling Mayweather was winning the fight and feeling a bit outclassed.
