I think if hes smart he should take on andreas kotelnik for the wba belt, i think thats very winnable for him in this stage of his carear......i think a matchup i would personally like to see is ortiz vs juan urango...i think urango stops him or wins unamious decision...urango is way underrated i have him as number 2 or 3 jr. welterweight in the world....hes also heavy handed

Urango was beaten up by Ricky Hatton, but people call Hatton a bum and Urango underrated somehow..Anyways, Ortiz is only 22 years old so he should go slowly like a Tune-up with Forbes, a Title fight with Kotelnik, and his first legacy fight with Urango, then a mega fight with whoever the number 1 JWW is at the time or he can take a higger payday and fight a top WW. He'll still be under 25 after all this. See? no need to rush for a loss at only 22yrs old.

Nevermind Urango as a legacy fight..I think Holt or Bradley are nice fights for him

Kotelnik is the perfect fight for him in my opinion.

I was thinking Steve Forbes. Just cause Forbes will actually go the full 12, and will fight back as often as he can. Ortiz is as talented as they come, but he is really lacking in experience, a 12 rounder against a seasoned ex champ is just what he needs.

Torres vs Diaz sounds good..a win over Torres would have everyone on his tip.

Yeah honestly I think thats the fight for him. You dont want his first tough fight to be against a guy with pop, or an elite fighter, thats a recipe for failure. Get him in there with Stevie and let him get that experience, and the confidence that comes with it.
