Hopkins has been on record saying basically stating at this stage a fight with Roy would be no contest, but with Roy's recent outing should Hopkins reconsider or leave it as it is?

Leave it as is. I'm a Hopkins fan before any, but Roy is a close 2nd, and in the boxing world it's rare someone likes both fighters that much.

If he wins, it means nothing. If he loses, it means a lot to dampen either his legacy, or just his pride because he'll forever know that RJJ had his number.
