I didn't think the fight was as bad as you guys are making it out to be. Sure, Vitali looked a bit like Wlad in there at times (pawing with the jab, and nothing ele), but he did knock Gomez down what? 3 times? Almost 4 if you count the ifnal barrage that ended the fight.

And Gomez was cut over both eyes.

It wasn't Wlad/Sultan, which is what it sounds like some are making it out to be.

Could it have been better? Absolutely. But in the barren wasteland that is the HWW division right now, there are no challengers to the Klitschko's thrones. And until such a challenger arises, I think we'll be seeing more one sided beatdown victories for Wlad and Vitali.

And don't come at me with Arreola or Haye, they're simply unproven at this point.

Povetkin deserves a shot before either of those two get one.
