Roys only problem at this point is his punch output. He is still quicker than most of the LHW, even Dawson. He just seems to be going for the knockout these days, just like he did with Calzaghe. If he could throw 60 punches per round his connect percentage is good enough that he could beat dawson. But thats a big IF. Dawson is a young hungry tough fighter. I think Woods and Jones would be a good fight though. too close to call.

I honestly don't see this Hype behind Dawson, 40-year old Johnson almost knocked him out and barely won a contreversial UD over him. I know hes fast, I know hes pretty strong but... he's not as good as you guys say.

I doubt Dawson would destroy him and knock him out like a lot of you guys say.

I think he would to be fair, the way he puts his punches together, this Roy would be on the backfoot all night long, and if he opened up then he probably would get KO'd.

This would be a horrible fight to see. Calzaghe was fair game and not as dangerous because Joe hasn't been able to through hurtful punches for years. If Roy wins tonight maybe he can just call it a day. He might surprise us.

ok, now he's being delusional 100%, if he thinks he can beat froch on SMW at the age of 40 he's too damn out of his mind, he'll get worse if he goes down, especially at his age.
