A current day top 10 P4P fighter should have 'OLD' Roy's card. It would be pathetic if they didn't.

I find it funny that JC still got dropped though. If Roy used his jab like way, way more against Joe, he could have even been competitive @ 39.85 years of age. His handspeed and coordination is still better than 97% of the boxers out there including Joe Calzaghe.

Word to Roy: Yo, beautiful performance Roy. But that was against a 'B' level guy. Don't be weary to move sideways off the ropes like you used to. You won't get tired prematurely. And keep that left hand at least at chest level. Imagine what you could do with the jab if it was already up there. Your opponent would never see it coming. Joe did ****all when you used it. In closing Roy, don't crouch with your butt against the ropes measuring with the right to set up the inevitable left hook. Your opponents see that and know the punch is coming. If they didn't see that hard left hook it would hurt them allot more. Punches you don't see and brace for always hurt allot more.

Why does Roy deserve so much more hate than any other fighter that has carried on long past their best? It is not like he is the only one. If you were truly a fan of his you would do what all other decent fans do and support fighters through thick and thin. Anyone can support a fighter when they are p4p the best there is.

I won't support anyone that has mental problems and needs to showboat in front of a fighter 10 classes below him then dance after the ref stops it then have the nerve to say "i'm coming back". The way he fought against tarver in the 3rd fight made me sick. I never wanted to see him fight again. he should have hung them up. Then he comes back and fights calzaghe and from the beginning I knew all roy was doing was fighting for money. He had no confidence in himself and I was hating how he was talking about the fight. It was very clear his mentality was that he was going to lose, and trying to make it seem like the pressure was on joe and not him. If he lost "so what, i was supposed to lose" all that talk assured me he would lose. Then he goes into the calzaghe fights and does it again! It was like watching the 3rd Tarver fight again. If your scared to get hit or in the calzaghe fight slapped then stay the *** out of the ring!!!! I kept hyping roy up cause i thought he would counter and beat calzaghe to the punch all night, i had a lot of friends over, and all i did was turn people against roy by inviting them over to watch his fight. He needs to retire!!! This is not the sport to be in if you're scared to get hit and all you want to do is stand there with your hands covering your face like a little *****. I ***en hated this fight because i knew this would happen. Roy would show boat, kill, and then talk about how he's back and he feels better than ever! Stop it roy, save your fans and yourself the embarrassment. He needs to realize he mentality can't do this anymore. I would bet $1,000 he wont fight tarver, johnson, dawson, adamek, or hopkins. He needs to just hang them up for his own good. He's living in the past!

No, i think roy doesn't know that he's 40 and can't do that anymore. I supported him by buying the *** calzaghe fight even after i promised myself I wouldn't buy any more of his fights after the 3rd tarver fight. I've had enough with his lack of confidence. He needs to hang them up, what about that don't you understand????????????? Then the bull**** he talks after about "i'm back" What a joke. Let's promote this fight, like it's my last fight of my career and have it in Pensacola, then after the fight i'll announce i will continue to keep fighting.
