SRR vs Money May At WW

I see some Mayweather fans and the man himself claim he is the best boxer ever. I am a big Mayweather fan, he's an amazing boxer. However, I think Robinson would have almost killed him at WW. So I wanted to see the general consensus. Mayweather haters don't just troll and bring up bull**** like Cotto or Margarito. **** those guys, nobody cares. This is about SRR vs Money May. Break it down if you aren't a lazy bastard.

Would be very competitive. And Mayweather would without a doubt be a very live underdog.

I'm not saying Mayweather is greater than Robinson, but if a chain-smoking, womanizing boozehound could manage to beat Robinson, a prime gifted, modern athlete of Mayweather's abilities certainly could as well.

I do not think Mayweather's shell defense would have worked against Sugar Ray. I think Robinson would have too much power, is a better combination puncher, and too much speed with his combinations. I would not be surprised if he knocked out Money May within 9 rounds.

We are talking WW, and that chain smoker had more toughness than Money May will ever have. 128-1 or whatever. Castillo could have gotten the nod vs Mayweather. I do not think it would have been that competitive in my opinion. But at least you attempted to break it down.

Boxing tactics have evolved, because of guys like Robinson. If it wasn't for guys like Robinson/Ali etc. Mayweather etc might not be aware of certain strategy's/ moves in Boxing today.
