they are very similar fighters.both have great speed and are exciting fighters.
they were brought back 2 earth reasonably early in there careers (but 2 be fair haye was fighting a tough ex-world champion in his 11th fight)

Khan has more skill. No question about it. Haye is a good counter puncher, but he has bad balance.

Only thing they have in common is thier weak chins. Wait till Haye fights a quality HW and Khan fights nothing like Haye. Khan reminds me of a Roy jones type virage puncher.

Both wont go too far if anyone has a big chance of making it is Khan as long as he doesnt go to 140-147

It's funny, isn't it? They both have the same deficits (ie a weak chin), both talk themselves up yet Khan recieves so much abuse while Haye is lauded as a saviour of boxing.

I can only think of a few reasons why Khan is so reviled and most of it is underpinned by racism in my opinion. Whether anyone wants to admit it or not is another matter.

They both have weak chin but Khan is still young and his learning everyday, Haye is around 28 so i doubt he could learn anything anymore at this stage that would be significant in his career...I mean he likes to carry his left hand low for years now and he hasnt change it even though it gets him in trouble alot of times.

While Khan doesnt sit on his punches but he has good handspeed to go with his youth..

Haye is lauded as a saviour of boxing because he is a heavyweight. The heavyweight division is dead. They'll hype up any decent fighter in heavyweight. As for Khan, Khan is not* needed; the lower weight is loaded with talent unlike Cruiser-Heavyweight.

Haye unified a tough division against big punchers his weight.

Khan lost to Prescott and beat an old small Barrera.

Khans been boxing for over ten years so I think the "he's still young" thing is used a bit too much IMO.

Things like keeping his hands up is supposed to be second nature by now, yet in his 14th year of boxing school, he's getting applause for returning his hands to his chin after he throws a punch lol.

I don't know, I think he's sposed to be further than where he is right now. Then again, that could possibly be down to a poor trainer?

I'll wait to see a few more fights under Mr Roach to see how he's progressing.

As for haye, maybe people like him more because he's pressing as hard as possible to chase down the big guys?
