Vitali vs Gomez. Who wins and when?

I think I'll make a final poll with options as to when Vitali will end stop Gomez to go with the usual.

I'm looking forward to this. I'm quite impressed how Gomez has handled the pressure so far. I think this is an entirely different assignment from Sam that awaits Vitali Klitschko. Although I don't think Gomez will pull an upset I don't find it out of the question.

Vitali will win by late TKO in a difficult, competitive fight.

JC Gomez is a very good fighter. He's been boxing since age 8 and had a successful amateur career before turning pro. He accomplished much more than Haye at cruiserweight with nine successful title defenses, and was even ducked by James Toney.

He's big man, looking very strong at 230 and having a slightly longer reach at 80.5" than Vitali at 80". Gomez has an awkward southpaw style and very good handspeed. He also has good power, with 35 KOs - he's the only one to ever knock down Vladimir Virchis and Samil Sam.

Thanks for this info. SUrprising that Gomez has a longer reach than Vitali. Still I expect Vitali to try to keep Gomez at the end of his jab and try to set up that big right hand. What will be interesting is how Gomez responds when he takes one on the chin.

Vitali stops Gomez in the 8th or 9th round.

Should be interesting for the first few rounds.

To me the question will be wheter or not Gomez responds like this when hit with the steelhammer:
