Bernard Hopkins is a better analyst/commentator than Teddy Atlas

I dont think so but he isnt bad. Much better then Roy Jones was.

Roy Jones was very good...he just needed to stop sucking his own **** on the air.

Hopkins certainly has the knowledge but isn't very articulate, he often struggles to convey what he wants to say.

I've listened to many extended radio interviews with Hopkins, and he often pauses or stutters when searching for a word or expression, and occasionally what ultimately comes out doesn't make much sense or is an incorrect usage. I'm not bashing Hopkins, just saying that there are difficulties he would have in the commentator role.

he needs some more work. Did you see how tessitorre was looking at him when he fumbled a couple of words in the beginning. I like him as a commentator though....no where near as good as Atlas

I like B-Hop, but trying to understand what the hell he's talking bout sometimes proves to take work. Also I'm not 100% convinced he knows left from right. "two left hooks...I mean right hooks" I think he's done that two or three times tonight.

Shannon Briggs has been good when I've heard him commentate.

Hes a better commentator then he is a boxer... Sad Truth, sure he would crush us in real life with his massive steroid biceps if he could hit us, but he might be too slow. And he might run out of breath since he always seems to blame all his losses on bad asthma
