asian sensation! hower u man? if u think angulo does not offer anything special, why then all the hype around him? is it bcoz of the dearth of bankable mexican superstars of late?

        What's up my man?

I think the hype behind Angulo is that he is a tough guy that takes a lot of punches and keeps coming. Plus he's with Gary Shaw who essentially controls boxing and the networks. But I can see things in his fights that I can't ignore.

The fight with Archak TerMeliksetian, he was getting rocked before Archak got caught and knocked out in the first.

The first time I saw him was when he fought Richard Guttierez and I admit that I didn't know who either was. During the fight I thought Guttierez was the prospect and Angulo was the fodder, not vice versa.

I was at the fight when he fought Cosme Rivera. Rivera is not a big puncher, took the fight on short notice and was a natural welterweight. Still, he was able to have some success early and even cut Angulo. I think a guy like Kirkland who could back him up and make him fight for three minutes of every round would run him out of the ring.

You should be a matchmaker lol, that would be amazing. Problem is, it probably wouldn't happen as a summit meeting because Duddy is being groomed for Pavlik and who knows which direction Angulo is going in at 154.
