Because of some bull**** reason, its gonna be on ESPN Classic which doesn't even reach nearly a third of households which ESPN reaches. Then they're gonna replay it later in the day on ESPN2. Another bull**** move towards boxing by the geniuses at ESPN.
Klitschko/Gomez fight not on ESPN anymore.

It is a timing issue. The window on ESPN was 5-6:30 pm ET. The Germans agreed with that. A few days ago when everyone was going over things in a production meeting the Germans said the fight wouldn't be able to fit in that window and since ESPN has a contractual obligation to start its coverage of the NCAA wrestling championships at 6:30, the fight had to move to Classic, which could accomodate it live. Nobody at ESPN is happy about it, but the promoters brought it on themselves by making one promise when they made the deal and then not being able to deliver on the fighters being in the ring at a certain time. And since ESPN is not the primary broadcaster (i.e. the ones paying a ton of money for it), it had no legs to stand on to insist it go at a certain time. So it's on Classic live and that's the way it is. Be happy it's at least there.Comment
