Any chance Floyd has lost half a step?

The way Floyd fights..His D and his O for that matter...It all revolves around him having that muscle twich reflex faster then anybody else I have ever seen in my life...If he loses just a fraction of that speed it will effect his game more then any other fighter IMO...

Though i'm sure he can change his game up like MJ did when he came back...like all the greats can.

And be for I get attacked by Floydboys...I hope he hasn't lost anything I'm just bringing up a topic...

Of course there is a chance, but we won't know until we see him fight again.

He was beginning to slip before he retired.

you saw it too. yes this is true, the way he fought vs Hoya and even vs Hatton had nothing to do with Floyd who beat the **** out o late corrales or castillo.

Yep. It happens. Same thing with Jones - it was obvious at LHW that he wasn't as good as he was in the lower divisions but when you're that good, no one really notices.

Slipping before he retired? It was just the effects of fighting above his natural weight - he can't be the same fighter (nor does he have the same body) at 147 as he was at 130 and 135.

Well that may be why he slipped but it sure doesn't prove it negative. If his speed slowed - which it did - then yeah, he was slipping. You're right though, a lot of it had to do with moving up (like Roy).

even if he has lost half a step, he's still 10 steps ahead of everyone else
