Given the AWESOME state of the heavyweight scene right about now, who else would you say is deserving of the title shot then? Arreola? He needs to build his resume and Haye has a good resume albeit at cruiserweight but nothing to frown at. The heavyweight scene is thin, the top guys have all been up against the K-bros and lost so why see them in another replay of a beatdown?

Why didn't Haye sign the damn contract 4 months ago? Arreola would have.

I also don't think Haye's resume at Cruiser is worth a crap. Mormeck is the only good fighter he beat and Mormeck quit boxing after that fight.

I would pick John Ruiz to beat Haye.

There's a lot of good up-and-coming heavyweights in Europe right now: Povetkin, Dimitrenko, Boytsov, Kretschmann, Ustinov, Pala, Koeber, Pianeta etc.

When the Klitschkos are retired, there will be many European heavyweights to take their place. The overall state of the heavyweight division is FINE, but in the US it truly is pathetic.

So go away and stay away.

I don't see any reason to think Haye would beat Ruiz. He'd have a punchers chance, that's about it.

This is Haye's retirement fight, good riddance to bad rubbish.

Apparently David Haye is worried about how exciting he will be to himself, he hasn't signed a contract and he hasn't fought in 4 months.

The only thing boring me right now is the Heavyweight Champion sitting on his ass waiting for this poser to sign a contract for 5 times as much money as he has ever made for a fight.

                    • Haye must be running low on money. He's only fought once in the past year.
