Why, they had everything in that arena festooned with Haye's name, everything except the back of the ref's shirt (probably on his undershirt). They didn't even try to make a show of having a fair contest.
So? So you're mad that a guy who has one, maybe two fights at HW doesn't compare to a guy who's had 50-something wins there? Who cares what happened in the Barrett fight? I mean, it could've been much worse...like getting bounced up and down off the canvas like a basketball against a an old golfer...in front of hometown fans. THAT sucks.

As of 1 pm Eastern time today, according to a text message from Wlad to his assistant trainer:

      "nothing signed yet"

serious, the HW divisions sux and being on top of the HW division doesnt mean crap in this era.

The nitwits endlessly chant the party line, parroting their favorite talking head, like bug eyed Maxie. In fact the heavyweight division is better now than it has ever been before and it is much more international in scope and the participants are much bigger and stronger and faster and more skilled than they have ever been before.

and? Your point there only suggests that Haye is not a natural heavyweight yet he's prepared to be pulled out of the safety net of 200 and fight for the number one accolade in world sport (or at least it was), that takes confidence of supreme levels.

Haye is a natural heavyweight who fought at cruiserweight because he was aware of his own limitations.

He moved up to heavyweight because he simply could not make 200 anymore.

                100% correct

Haye is naturally bigger than Chambers, Ibragimov or Chagaev.

Any one of those 3 guys could have been a cruiserweight champion as well if they knew (like Haye does) that their chins wouldn't hold at heavyweight.

Old golfer? Corrie Sanders could have been the best of them all, but he just never gave a ****. Wlad had the great misfortune to meet him one of the few times in his life that he bothered to get himself into top condition. I couldn't believe the shape he showed up for in his next fight against Vitali, though, the biggest fight of his life. Fat. Even so he was missing Vitali with bombs by mere inches, and Vitali was at his absolute most beautiful peak.

Sanders could have been the best of them all.

Thats what I do with Carlos Mencia.

I don't watch his whole entire show so that the next day I can appear well schooled in exactly why he sucks.

Sanders is head and shoulders better than Haye.

Hayes only strengths are speed and power. Sanders was faster and hit harder than Haye ever will.
