    American Fighters Have an advantage..

When it comes to promotion. See if a good young American prospect comes through, they are quickly hyped up and put into the big fights, when a good young prospect from another country comes through, he usually struggles to find anyone willing to fight him. I think this is why the US has so many ATG's, other countries could have more, if only they had the same promoting power.

Follow your avatars journey. I think it worked out quite well for him.

Yeah, some do ok, but look at a fighter like Anthony Mundine, If he was american he would have had so many big fights right now, I know he hid to a certain extent, but if he was american he would have had nowhere to hide, btw im not trashing the us, im just saying.......

I just think you go where the money is. If the money is good enough for your career to strictly be in Europe, so be it. I think they need to come here, settle in, even temporarily, get their name out there via a promoter, etc. So many guys you see, and no offense to UK or anywhere else, hide in their home countries, build a solid pro career to THEN come out and challenge an American champion who may have been on the news often. ESPN coverage often, etc. and then get denied because they aren't worth the money to promote the fight. I say you go to the money.

Hiding to ANY extent = ducking. You duck big fighters therefore you don't get big fights, it's simple really; you have to beat the best to be the best.

ha, if you say so...Im not trying to say Americans have a harder time or anything ridiculous, but with some of the promotional companies in Europe, you can fight bums and get paid a hefty amount of money for it.

you might not end up getting the megafights, but if youre simply not that level and want to milk what you have, guys like Palle, Warren, Universum or whatever and Sauerland might be just right for you.

              Exactly, just ask Calzaghe.

Remember when you were oh so confident that Pavlik would KO Hopkins? And you were saying that he'd KO Calzaghe if they ever fought? And you were oh so confident that Roy would beat Calzaghe?

Good to know that you manned up about and realised that you made several errors of judgment, rather than still whining like a little ***** about Calzaghe months later.

Oh no wait, scratch that last part...

                  This is true.

Chis Eubank said himself the reason he did not go back to America was, because he wanted to be a big fish in a small pond rather than vice versa.
