I would like a fight with Pacquaio, and it would sell the most, but he needs to fight one man at the moment, and that is Shane Mosley.

People forget that now Floyd is going to become THE draw. He wasn't against Hatton or Oscar, but now that he's been out of the limelight for a little while the anticipation for his inevitable return is at an all time high with Pacquiao beating Oscar last Dec and now onto fighting Hatton. In Floyd's eyes it's gotta be the perfect fight to have to end the decade off (if it is Pacman who wins).

If Floyd does end up fighting and beating Pacquiao, I don't think it would be a far stretch to say Floyd could possibly take the winner of the inevitable Mosley vs Cotto 2 which would be the most logical fight for the Fall and would set up another huge payday for either guy.

Floyd's team ain't dumb. They're gettin their ducks in a row.

According to the story going around, Mayweather's team is talking with HBO about a possible return on the July date. The biggest obstacle, at the moment, is Mayweather's desire to fight on regular HBO, which is causing an issue because of the money required to make that possible. Mayweather is said to be asking for a sum so hefty that HBO is trying to do everything possible to keep the fight from becoming a pay-per-view event. [details]
He beats everyone on the list BUT Mosley. Thats a close call. As much as I would love it, I would hate to see it.

Mayweather Cotto is the fight I want to see if Pac and May dont fight. I actually want Cotto to rematch Marg-a-cheato and expose his "*****" ass (again) while Mayweather and Pac fight. Winners fight each other.

It won't be Pac, because Manny fights in May. He won't fight in May and then again in July against two huge names. Mayweather will take JMM or even some junky fight in July, and then fight the winner of Pac vs. Hatton in the winter, or the winner of Cotto vs. Mosley 2 or Marg 2.

Well...he'd do that if he wasn't a chicken ****, but it's Floyd we're talking about here.

It's no surprise to me. He only mentioned Golden Boy fighters. Why would he try and sell a fight to someone else like Cotto?
