Point still stands that Hatton's natural and dominating weight is 140. He moved up that little 7lbs, which I agree isn't a huge jump, but the jump my point is stating, is the jump in competition. Mayweather, hate him or not, is on another level skill wise than Pac or JMM. There IS NO denying that. You CANT deny that. Pac relies on his power and aggression, as did Hatton, again, look how well that worked for him. Now, as the Hatton fight, you bring the naturally smaller man up in weight, even a catch weight, and throw him in there with the talent and natural ability of Floyd - game over.

Alot of people think Pacquiao will beat Floyd..If thats true JMM Is Pacquiaos Nightmare...what is Floyds then?
Nobody is talking about a catchweight you idiot..LOL

            Floyd doesn't need JMM.

            This fight won't happen anyway.

At 147, 140 or 135 Floyd makes both JMM and Pac look like Gatti. He'd make them his bitches. I don't even like the guy that much, but I'm not blind to the bloody obvious.

Cotto, Berto, Mosley and Clottey are the ones who would give PBF trouble at 147. Those, and perhaps a Hatton rematch if both seem to want it enough, are the only matches that should be made upon his return.

i agree, but the point that i was trying to make is that ricky loses that extra 7 lbs to avoid real competittion..... he could have fought flought after floyd fought gatti, but he feared him, and with good reason.... hatton is a joke..... to me at least..... not taking anything away from floyd tho.... thats my mans

i remember wayne mccullough telling some interviewer that the most important aspect of a fighter is his hunger....

jmm, after laboring in the shadows of barrera and morales for the longest time, seems to have that hunger in his last few fights...

mayweather it seems to me will just return for the money with all his issues regarding his taxes and stuff... a recent ad of his limo 4 sale on ebay makes it hard to dispute this...

however, mayweather is still great. his composure and his ice cold nerves will carry him through i think... its very dangerous for all fighters to face jmm at this point, but mayweather for all his talent and nerves and being younger than jmm will come out victorious in the end... i think...
