Yea Kessler ain't no Williams. Williams has a very good chin and always throwing punches, I like Williams a lot but I seriously think Daniel Santos KO's him and Vernon schools him hitting him all day long with his great jab.
I think they both have great potential. I would probably lean towards Kessler though. I think, if he gets the right fights, he can become the dominant force at 168.
Kessler has the potential to unify the SMW division and replace Calzaghe, he should 100% push for a fight with the winner of Froch/Taylor. Williams has the potential to become a huge multi-weight division champion, but tbh Winkys gonna really test him.
Both have won a couple belts, but Pwill had 1 big fight and won it. Kessler lost his. If Pwill settles in at 154 he can dominate. i don't see anyone there who would beat him right now. At 160, he'd get KTFO by Pavlik or AA. Kessler could beat all the guys at 168, but I think Taylor is a threat to him if they fight.
I wish ive seen more of Kessler other than that loss to Calzaghe and wins over not so good competition..as for Williams he already schooled maragrito and took some nice punches from that plasterman while his plaster was in his prime..plus he smoked Quintana like a ciggarrette in 1 round..Kessler needs to fight the winner of Taylor/Froch or at least fight Jeff Lacy..fight sumone anyone with a name
Williams should be fighting at super middleweight or light heavyweight. He is 6'3 and has 82" reach, he has longer reach than the Klitschko brothers (Wlad 81", Vitali 80").
Williams prefers to cut weight so he can pick on little men in the lower weight classes...he is a coward.
