    What makes a p4p champion

Im not sure what makes someone P4P, i mean do you have to win titles in multiple divisions to earn this title,

The reason i ask is because with the current P4P holder been Pac and his fight coming up with Hatton i here lots of ppl say that if Hatton wins this wont make him P4P champion and he wont be anywhere near the top.

So what makes a P4P champion and what would Hatton have to do to be that Champion.

The key is once you become the #1 pound for pound king you need to become complacent. You have to feel that because you're the p4p king you are no longer required to prove anything. Plus you have to demand rediculous sums of money and hand pick your opponents. It's also a good idea to decrease your appearences every year. You don't want to give them too much of a good thing. Threatening retirement after every fight is also essential.

This is just what I've heard though.

            Firts P4P is a phrase.

Second if you mean P4P number 1,thats not a title or a belt. Thats just a mithycal list, base on opinions. You need to beat top guys in your, or close to your division, To become a top P4P caliber fighter. And unlike titles, you dont win a certain number in the list just because you beat the figher who was rank in that number,

For example if Hattons beats Pacquiao, hell move up in the P4P rankings, but he wont be number 1. JMM will be number 1.

p4p measures skills.... moving up in weight divisions and conquering them is the BEST way to prove your boxing skills, but not the only way.... top 3 p4p fighters are usually the ones who move up,...... the rest just look good in their divisions....

p4p fighters usually have enough pure skills to overcome most physical advantages like height and power..... These are some of the basic things when measuring p4p but most of it is opinionated anyway

This is all subject to interpretation. IMO, it would be bein more dominant at your weight division(s) than anyone else is at theirs. Showin that by style and talent level, if size was all equal you would beat the top guys at other divisions if you fought em.
