Nonetheless, this is an unnecessary distraction for Pacquiao. A lot of people, even the ones who are "supposedly close" to Pacquiao are trying to take advantage of him.

I get tired of saying this. Jose Sulaiman Shut The F.UCK UP!!! Manny doesn't need to pay ****. Why should he be taxed by the sanctioning bodies for being champion. Its like asking the Steelers to pay a fee for plsying in the Superbowl, and then paying another fee for being called the champions. Oh, and then saying, guess what, some people call the Ravens and Eagles world champions too. In the sanctioning body world, the fighter makes the belt. They only havee credence as long as their title holder is viable, which is rare. As for the linear crown, its the title that makes the fighter, and they are trully champion of the world, a lineage that can be traced back (won and lost in the ring) to when the original gay-Basher himself (it's true, his son was gay or more accurately, he was diddled by Oscar Wilde and he didn't handle it well) Marquess of Queensberry's introduction of new rules that created modern boxing. Jose Sulaiman's little temper tantrum just robs validity and credibility from corrupt sanctioning bodies. I hope he keeps acting like a three year old and turns the fighters away from them as well.

I agree with alot of your guys' statements and especially the one where a person said, "everyone else pays them, Pac is no different..." but I think in the article it points out a statement I believe to be true. Pac just flat out prob don't know about it so he is making so much music in the media to try and get it in his ear. Manny DOES NOT seem like the type of guy who holds out on 80k to prove a point or w/e the reasons they come up with. If he indeed knows about it, until the sanctioning bodies are done away with, which I'm all for, pay the God damn thing Manny lol. You make that in interest a week for Christ's sake!

Before Manny fought in WBC he knows the consequence of being a champion under WBC. He needs to pay what is due and I know he is more than man to face his obligation. But I believe the trouble is, he doesn't know all of these things. He doesn't even know he had more than $250K in his bank account in the US, and if not squandered by one of his trusted aide's wife, it would never cross to his awareness.
