Some info on Arthur Abrahams weightloss.

Apparently Arthur Abraham was on a 'madness-diet' the last 2 weeks prior to his defense last weekend against Lajuan Simon. He lost 8 kilos (around 17 lbs) by following this crazy diet for a top athelete (source: BILD):

    Breakfast: None.
Lunch: 200 grams filetsteak with spaghetti
    Dinner: 5 'milchsnitte'.

Drink: 3 liters of ****y tee.

I googled 'milchsnitte'. This is what it is:

Abraham entered the ring 6 kilos heavier than at the weigh-in. "It was all liquid. You cannot eat as much in a day", Abraham says. Coach Wegner confirms that dehydration affected AA's performance: "Arthur had no steam in his gloves and the punches lacked precision. It was a warning-sign".

The Abraham that showed up that night does not defeat Forrest. Why didn't he eat any fruits or vegetables to lose weight?

so hes eating 5 cake browny things for dinner, and spaghetti and steak for lunch?

is he ******? you might want to try vegetables and actual weight loss, healthy foods...

I mean, I cant really feel sorry for him being 'weight drained' in this case.

Abraham should leave 160, No way can he compete like this anymore, its not right.

Boxers go through too much to make weight anyway.

The advantage he would gain by fighting in a lower weight division, is outweighted by how hard it is to make the weight.

        He could seriously do damage.

MOVE TO 168 OR HIGHER ABRAHAM. ASAP

Abraham's not gonna be at 160 long enough for fights with Pavlik or Sturm to happen

wait a second, I looked it up too and apparently its ice cream sandwiches. hahah.

Milchschnitte (milk slice), n. is a popular snack for kids consisting
of a soft spongy cake slice with a creamy white filling made out of
vitamin-enriched milk. It is sold in the dairy section of supermarkets
            and needs to be refrigerated
Abraham, you dont ****ing eat ice cream sandwiches if youre trying to lose weight for a boxing match, hahah!

Lol. Yeah I thought it sounded pretty silly to eat that for a diet although they probably made them with some low fat milk. Maybe (probably) they made them with a high amount of carbohydrates.

If it's a diet for top athletes then I'm sure it's relatively well suited at least to getting the right stuff into him.

Did Abraham get a fair bit heavier in between fights then he usually does?

I'm just wondering if having gone through this whether he'll try to keep his weight down more long term as opposed to shrinking so much. It's a catch 22 which is worse though, but that's too much to lose in 2 weeks.

Obviously they've sat down and said make a decent offer to Pavlik, if don't get it, 168.

I'm caught between being annoyed Abrahams already drained at the weight, and could be annoyed if Kelly turns him down given what he's going through to try and make the unification come off.

No wonder he has a hard time making weight.

I dont know why there trying to make some sort of offer now. Arum already has Pavlik booked to fight Mora and I doubt he will change plans. 3 million plus the fight in the US might make it happen though.
