The myth
valero was pushed to the limit by vicente 'loco' mosquera (Aug.2006), although loco got tko'd in last minute of rd 10. mosquera is flat footed and don't have pop in his punches, but valero got hurt and was running in many rounds. Valero was floored in rd 3. valero has no defense, only extends his right to lean on his opponent's forehead. with that fyt in mind, i tend to believe that the \"edwin valero myth\" will be shattered this time..........pitalua used to fyt in JrWW (140lbs) before he faced santa cruz in 135. i hope he is not weight drained come April. i'd go for Antonio Pitalua by KO/TKO
