I have been rewatching Hatton's fight with Lazcano and Malinaggi and I think that Hatton will have a problem getting a hold of Manny. I don't think that the refs are gonna let him hug on Pacman. Roach will no doubt be training Pacquiao to stay on the outside and shoot that straight left lead, and to push Hatton away when he tries to grab. Eventually, Hatton will get fed up and start lunging in to get close (to work the body) and Pacquiao will hit him with an uppercut.

Bottom line is that Hatton cuts way too easily and that is what is going to decide this fight, how long can Ricky's face hold up? Stoppage in rd 7 or 8 for Pacquiao.

you watch the Lazcano fight and Malinaggi fights the one where he lost 7 rounds out of 63 on all scorecards and you concluded he can't get at Pac....

If he tries to push Hatton away and not grab he will get battered, Hatton relies on fighters tring to push him away, thats when he lands those bodyshots while his opponents hands are up.

How many times has Hatton been stopped on cuts? (never) How many times has Hatton been close to being stopped on cuts? (twice once from a punch, he lasted 12 rounds, once from a headbutt he lasted 12 rounds)

How many times has pac stopped an opponent on cuts? (once)

Cuts will not be a factor as far as fight stoppage is conserned.
