July 11th? I thought Hopkins was gonna fight Adamek on that day. Not a smart choice for Floyd. His comeback will almost certainly be PPV and to comeback the same day as the landmark UFC 100 PPV, Floyd's numbers will fail.

yeah, this is just dumb. I'm a big floyd fan but I already got use to the fact that floyd might be retired for good. all this floyd comeback talk is embarrassing and pathetic.

Unless floyd announces a comeback out of his own mouth, nobody should be talking about a comeback.

besides, he already announced about a month ago that he is officially retired for good.

          ppl are just crazy.

i was thinking of that thread you made ... i still dont think they're fighting for the same audience and with a pbf comeback fight especially against a big name like jmm they may lose in ppv numbers against ufc but it would still do very well imo ...

What would be funny if Floyd went head to head with UFC 100 and did better papyperview buys which i wont doubt for a second he could pull this off...

I never said I wanted him to fail, I'm just saying, it's not a smart choice to go up against Dana White on this particular night, unless he plans on doing something big. The article said Floyd would like to do it on HBO's World Championship Boxing, which indicates that he probably wants to take a tune up fight. But it also said that the money Floyd wants would almost force the fight to be PPV, which wouldn't be a good move on July 11th unless he was fighting Pacquiao or Oscar again.
