Mike Tyson was a bad guy, Floyd Mayweather is not. He may act like it, but he's not.

#2 I don't see how Floyd could get that high in the list. There's too many fighters around those rankings that have done far more than Floyd. For example, the Ring's ATG list have Leonard in that bracket and I don't see how beating Mosley, Cotto, Marquez (if he got through these) is as good as beating Hearns, Duran, Benitez and Hagler.
My question to this do you think those two could have done those numbers with anyone else? The thing is it seems like there is potential to career defining numbers when you fight against Floyd. I think that is still the case right now.

Do I think Oscar/Hatton would do these numbers against other opposition? Umm......yes, that's a bit of a no-brainer. Those two are proven box office draws.

Career-defining fight wise I do agree with you, though.

            Bit of a contradiction.
i don't think floyd fans are saying he is too small to fight a ww....they're simply saying he is not a ww!

And sine he is most likely a jr ww, a fight with jmm is not out of the question

I guess I just don't understand this whole Floyd is too big for Pacman, Marquez, etc. thing. Just because Floyd proved he can beat bigger fighters doesn't make him any bigger of a man. Just because JMM isn't on Floyd's level doesn't mean they're a different size either. If JMM was so great he could've moved up just like Floyd, but he's only moved up two divisions because he doesn't have the talents that Floyd has.

The 'he isn't a WW' doesn't really wash when he was Ring Champ at the weight and most Floyd fans are happy to point out he's a 5 weight champ. If you are capable of winning the Ring title, you should not be avoiding the serious challenges at the weight class.

Marquez got rocked by a light punching LW, what makes you think a featherweight can effectively fight at LWW at 35 years old?

Publicly claiming you're better than Robinson, Leonard and Ali in addition to acting like an arrogant tool doesn't make you a bad boy, it makes you...well...an arrogant tool!

                      That sounds right to me.
