THAT is the epitome of *****-ass overrated mofo.

Chavez's resume has more padding than the walls of an insane asylum.

I don't think he'll beat him clearly either, it wouldn't be an easy fight at all.

Tell me how many Mexican fighters or Latin you know fight like Duran and how many fight like Chavez? Chavez has the more recognized Mexican fighting style then Duran.

So you can insult Margarito, as if he's done nothing in boxing, you might as well just not even talk about Margarito before someone else who knows boxing laughs at your post.
                  1) So, who else gave him trouble? names instead of bull**** please.

                  Jesus Chavez?
the guy who ate punches for the whole fight and did not win more than 2 rounds on any scorecard other than Lederman's?
                  Burton and Corley?
because they actually landed a few punches on him (those are not latinos)?

                  Famoso?
because Mayweather broke his hand halfway throught the fight?

                  Your argument keeps on failing

                  2) Mexican≠Latino. so what's your definition of latino? certainly you are not suggesting mexican fighters could never beat someone bigger than them right?

                  3) I did not want to get into this because I actually like Margarito, and I hoped you would hav been smart enough to drop it but

                  a) Chavez ****s on him in every compartment, minus stamina and chin (chin not anymore).
what he has done in boxing?
                  b) never managed to beat an elite guy as big as him.
                  c) -and this i don't like reminding people, bcos I like the guy- he got caught cheating

Oh yeah let me add something,

Skinny (less than 140 on fight night) Mayweather without the experience from the Castillo fights faces a 140 Chavez, he loses.

                    A 140-147 Mayweather (145-150 on fight night) post-Castillo wins.

Im not just talking about Duran's losses to Leonard and Benitez...who are some of the best fighters of all time...Duran just had problems with movers. even against guys like Edwin Viruet and Lou Bizzaro Duran would get frustrated having to chase after him. its actually kind of funny too. hes winning basically every round, but in his facial expression and the choices he made in the ring you could practically hear his brain screaming 'oh my gawd wtf holy shi.. ****ING FIGHT ME STOP RUNNING!'

Duran was a step above Chavez in the infighting department though, because he could counter waaay more effectively than Chavez could(among other things), who for the most part would play defensive and then pick at all the openings he could find.

Chavez was too good defensively to be potshotted like Castillo was in the second fight...and was too effective at closing the distance and could quickly rack up damage on the inside, quicker than Castillo as well.
                      Chavez by close UD.
You have a point with movers troubling Duran, but we should not forget that he always got the job done (and not in some half ass, or split decision result), except against the very elite and in higher weight classes.

We have had our debate on this fantasy mathcup in the other section, so I will refrain from anything else about this in here.
