I think Mayweather's jab to the body, forearms will be the key to victory against someone like JCC.
Roger was a very big puncher, much harder puncher than Floyd Jr. he had a pretty nasty knockout of Sam Serrano, who was a long time title holder at 130lbs.

and he was undoubtedly a much harder puncher than Jr at 140lbs, he almost finished Pazienza in the 12th round, and Paz didnt get stopped until he fought Roy Jones at Middleweight.

JCC didnt drop him in the 2nd fight, and Roger was a much more sturdy fighter at 140lbs. like I said, he went the distance with up and coming Tsyzu 6 years later.

Chavez often countered jabs to the body with right hands to the head, and even if they missed he would end up on the inside, where he would work more effectively than Castillo did. actually, Chavez himself jabbed to the body to catch up to runners, and followed up with a right hand to the head to close the distance.

In a 15 round fight maybe, but 12 rounds. I cant see it.
Duran looked like **** against Laing, I don't think he trained at all...I wouldn't use that as an example, P4P Duran would be really hard for anyone to beat. I never seen Duran look that awful and on top of that Laing had a gay fighting style (No offense) Making the upset that much worse

Mayweather would beat Chavez, Arguello and Aaron Pryor in my opinion....a Roberto Duran, I dont think so.

I might be being a bit harsh on Duran.

I dont see Alexis beating him. Im a big fan, but he struggle with lateral movement even more than Duran.

Pryor/Whitaker/Chavez would give him troube imo. Chavez maybe less so than the other two.

then watch the rest of the fight. no matter how manny ways you spin this, it's just what ifs. you can use the taylor fight and then mix in castillio and so on and so on, will anyone know? nope. imo my first reply is how i judge this debacle.

Taylor was all speed that night. He was getting hit ALOT. Floyd never gets hit ALOT. JCC is too slow for Floyd to catch him flush. Floyd will fight a smart fight and not engage but it will more than likely be a boring fight.

remember, the thread said prime, people are forgetting, pbf engaged a hell of a lot in his prime and left himself open more. now it's all d.
