    Cotto-Clottey will look like Cotto-Abdullaev

Clottey and Abdullaev have very similar styles. Abdullaev pressured Cotto and had that very tight defense like Clottey. Cotto had his boxing shoes on that night and boxed a terrific fight. Abdullaev is a powerful dude, but I would say that Clottey is stronger. Abdullaev is probably faster. Clottey is like a bigger version of him.

Cotto knows what to do with a guy like this. I just hope a better Cotto shows up than the one against Jennings.

NO way. Clottey is better in every single catagory then Abdullaev. Also, I always say this but Cotto was just way too big & strong for anyone at 140. It wont be that way at all against Clottey. He may win but it wont be like that fight

How many Abdullaev fights you seen? One? The Cotto one?

Their styles are EXTREMELY similar. That's all im saying.

People seem to overlook Abdullaev and rank him as just some bum on Cotto's record. Abdullaev is one of the best amateur fighters of his time, and an Olympic GOLD medalist, beat Cotto in the first round of the olympics. He was looking like a monster going through the pro ranks until he got that bs loss against Emmanuel Clottey whom he dominated the entire fight and then was counted out in the last round due to a language barrier.

Im not saying Abdullaev is better than Clottey. Im just saying they have similar styles of fighting. Clottey is just like a bigger version.

Abdullaev likes to go into that shell on defense just like Clottey. Cotto was still able to bust up Abdulaev's face. I don't see why he couldn't do it against the slower Clottey. Clottey is just alot more powerful and stronger probably.

difference is, Clottey make Abdullaev look like a midget.

The guy is the biggest fighter at Welterweight, easily.

Didn't he (Clottey) come in at like 170 against Corrales on the night of the fight?

Ive seen him fight a million times. Just because youre a great amature doesnt make you a great pro. He wasnt a special pro. He was just solid.

Which would explain me saying Clottey is a bigger stronger version

Clottey is going to beat Cotto, Abdullaev was never the IBF WW champion of the world. Clottey is a beast, watch and see.
