I thought the criteria for judging was clean effective punching (which is why castillo lost against Berto, he was hitting Berto a lot, but the majority of the punches were pretty much doing nothing)?

Khan was throwing a lot, but the VAST majority of them were landing on gloves.

I didn't really see Khan hitting Barerra with anything substantial the few times he did catch him.

Barerra got in a few body shots and a short uppercut near the beginning of the round too (about 50 seconds in), aswell as the hook that nocked Khan off balance, so it's not like he wasn't doing anything. He was mixing it up with Khan, taking and giving, just before/at the time of the clash of heads.

He wasn't walking Barerra back via pressure. He wasn't being hurt. I don't think it was domination at all. He was still taking punches.
