The Truth About Khan V MAB

Ok so i'm tired of all this MAB was robbed Bull****...lets look at the fight before barerra was cut/before the cut was "spoiling his vision" which is round one..
Round 1- MAB is possibly knocked down with 2.04 of the first round remaining..slow motion replay shows barerra's glove touching down after a khan right hook...that's 56 seconds into the fight..
With 1.06 remaining a khan combination sends MAB stumbling into the ropes..
With 30 seconds remaining Khan hit MAB with another combo sending him into the ropes..
At the end of the round Khan does the same again...

So in reality it doesnt look like anything changed in the way the fight was going after the bleeding..

Also lets look at the opposite scenarios..
If khan was cut and barerra was winning and the fight got stopped in the first round or before the 5th you'd all be saying that the cut wasnt directly above khan's eye hence the brits cheated by ending it before 5 so that its a no contest.

If barerra when cut had khan in trouble three times instead of the other way around and the fight was stopped again you would have all said it was stopped to save khan from another loss on his record.

The truth is MAB was possibly knocked down in the 1st, and rocked twice more...this fight was only going to go one way, A khan win.

MAB wouldnt have gotten stronger in the later rounds, the battering he was taking and his age vs Khan's youth would mean khan would have got even more dominant.

So quit your "MAB got robbed" excuses..cos a rematch would only just show us an identical round 1 to this fight's round 1 and then barerra slowly detiriorating until round 7 or 8 where he'd get knocked down and pulled out.

First of all, MAB's glove grazes the canvas 56 seconds in because their feet / legs got tangled. Khan is covered up, he isn't even throwing at that exact moment. Watch it again.

Second of all, your argument is based on more or less 1 minute of action. OK, whatever.

None of that is the point though. The point is that he was cut very, very badly and the fight should have bebn stopped to allow him to fight again. If it had happened the other way around, it would have been stopped literally if Khan had cried kicking and screaming against everyone to keep it going.

Doctors and ref's are there to protect the fighters. That was a cut that needed to be fixed and did not allow the boxer to fight unhindered. That means fight stops.
