Yeah, Thaxton would get blasted out after a couple of rounds. It wouldn't prove nothing.

Looking at the rankings there are only a few fights that stand out as a good move for Khan's next fight.

    Romanov - Is he injured?
    D. Diaz
    Alex Arthur
    Murray

I would be happy with any of those fights to be honest.

timba, granted re thaxton pal, i hear you, and was just putting it out there.

I think this is why the questions crops up, you say that khan should box diaz, if not murray?? how has he earned that fight?? surely this would be more of a miss match than thaxton?? if khan is as good as people make out then let him have a "warm up" against murray before he challenges for world tiltes.

for the record, i think i'd have khan to win against murray as murray takes too makny licks. saying that, looking at the power of khans punches the other night I dontl think murray has too much to worry about.
First all am not the ticket seller or venue organisers so i wouldnt know how much ticket Khan or Murray can or would sell.

But am pretty sure Most khan fights are sell out events, so to compare THAT to Murray who most people havent heard of is abit deluded on your part me think....You can do a poll and ask more knowledgeable british fans who brings more fans to a venue and if they tell me or you that Murray brings more fans then i would apologies to you.

My thing is if Murray sell more ticket than Murray why doesnt murray headline is own events? or go after the big fights at lightweight??? am baffled...i dont think he needs khan at this stage then while Khan doesnt need him as well.

they should make the fight, khan would outbox him for 12 rounds and the only chance murray would have is a lucky ko

Arthur is a good addition as well maybe Kevin mitchell also, Rmanov seem to have fell off the radar since he beat thaxton last year...Maybe he has an injury or something....Would love to see him and Khan but i doubt warren would do business.
