Hey benny its my opinion.Actually if you review my previous posts you'd actually see me starting to like the guy, i think hes getting to much hate. The fight with MAB was "unsatisfying" from my perspective. He did show good speed and better defence i want him to fight either prescot or Katsidis.I believe he should step up a "little".See! Now, no offense man, but what the hell are you on about? You think Khan hasn't stepped up or needs to more? He has only just had his twentieth fight a while ago. He has also faced an undefeated, huge KO puncher that was a good prospect just like him and he got KO'd. He has now just faced an old, but legendary former three weight world champion. How can he step up any quicker without going from basic prospect to fighting the top guy in the division?
What the hell is wrong with people. Most of the guys you probably loved growing up or still enjoy now wouldn't have anyone by their twentieth fight. It's called preparing a fighter properly and moving him along properly to get the necessary professional rank experience.
Khan is not going too slow at all. He's going very, very quickly. Valero has also been mentioned a lot, and yet he's already a title holder, already beaten a very good champion and already into his second weight class.
People are losing the plot on NSB.
With regards to Edwin Valero unproven ,unproven, im not saying hes a bum or something he should step up, fighting in the lightweight tourney is a good first step.
I dont see why you think im hating on them?Comment

Hey man, I don't think you're hating on him at all. Everyone always overreacts on these boards. If you stick up for a guy you're a nut-hugger or if you say you don't think much of, or think he needs to do more, you're a hater.
Anyway, that's another thread entirely. I don't think you're a hater. I actually really don't even like Khan, but, he's a very green prospect who has been consistently stepping up his competition very solidly. He has gone quite quick really.
He's been stepping it up since fighting Limond. Fighting for the commonwealth LW title in about your tenth fight is damn good. There are some fantastic fighters going for that. He then fought Earl, St Clair, Prescott, Barrera etc. That's really good for a young, untested, inexperienced prospect.
I can understand that with the hype people think he should be fighting Mayweather and Pacquiao but he is only just a young prospect. That's it. He has been thrown in the deep end.
Although people don't know Mosquera, he was a very good fighter. Very good. I saw his fight with Nanthanchai and he beat him very well. He knocked him down twice and really fought great. Nanthanchai is a great fighter as well. He has beaten very fine guys, from Lamont Pearson, Steve Forbes, Sugita to Lakva Sim and held the WBA SFW title for three years and is now fighting as JWW and doing well. The loss to Mosquera was his only loss since 1994! He lost a very early fight and that's it and he still hasn't lost a fight yet since!Last edited by BennyST; 03-17-2009, 06:15 AM.Comment
