Mitchell stoppage was fine, he was hurt and had been down. Manfredo was premature but Manfredo was throwing nothing and Manfredos a crapsack.

The other two were terrible. Especially the Torres one.

ManFraudo was early but he wasn't going to do anything anyway, torres one was the worst.

calzaghe vs torres stoppage due to the referee most likely had bet his house on calzaghe TKO in the 3rd..or do you guys think that the referees never bet on their own fights ?

The Littlewood fight was the fifth in his career and Littlewood was only a 1-1 fighter so it was maybe understandable. The Manfredo stoppage was good, Manfredo wasn't throwing anything back. The Torres stoppage was absurd, and the Mitchell stoppage was kind of early too.

            Biased or what!

The Torres stoppage was a disgrace!
I said three of the four Calzaghe stoppages in the videos were early.

Haye's wins in the UK such as the Rossito and Mock fights were early stoppages too. Haye was hurt worse than Mock in their fight, but the ref let him recover. In another fight in the UK, the ref let Haye hit Fragomeni when he was down, that should have been a disqualification. Haye got away with rabbit punching and holding and hitting against other opponents such as Barrett.

We saw more home refereeing in Khan' fight on Saturday, as discussed in other threads.

British fighters would get more respect if they could get away from the biased refereeing at fights in the UK. Do their promoters pay off the refs?

I disagree about the Mitchell stoppage, it was bull****. 20 seconds longer and it might have been genuinely worthy of a stoppage, but as it stands, it was not necessary at that point.

The Torrres fight! I remember that.

I don't see a problem with the Darren Littlewood stoppage, he wouldn't have lasted much longer. Maybe the ref saw Littlewood go cross-eyed or something, hell knows. Joe would have knocked him out anyway. That left to the face was a nice shot.

Manfredo stoppage is garbage. But seriously... It's not like Manfredo would have won, so who cares.

Didn't know this thread had a agenda...

But I would say Cotto vs Corley...

I hated how that fight was stopped.

Mitchell was reasoably fair, he'd just gone down and completely lost his legs.

First two were bit crap, but again they stood no chance, it was a matter of time. Silly to stop at such times as Joe was clearly never in risk of losing anyway, so just looks shoddy.

Manfredo again was a bit early yeah but was gona end in 15 secs anyway, he did the same with Bika, just froze, didn't throw.
