Cotto-Mayweathe would NOT go down as the greatest matchup in boxing history.

How would Cotto-Mayweather be bigger/better than Ali-Frazier III, Robinson-Lamotta II etc.

Rumours are starting to circulate about JMM v. Mayweather at 140....

That would be fun. In fact with those two, Pacquiao and Hatton all fighting at 140 it could be super-fight after super-fight.

Apart from that lot, Froch v. Taylor and, should it ever happen, Wlad v. Haye.

Khan vs. Somebody with ridiculous KO power
lol thats slightly harsh on khan

threads like this are made way too often but hey what the heck!

            my ideal 5 fights:
pavlik vs abraham - the only MW contest that matters, winner gets winky/williams

haye vs klit - any klit it really doesn't matter as long as he fights one of them

kessler vs taylor - froch is made for kess but a fight with taylor would be more competitive

guzman vs JMM - some might say guzman doesn't deserve another shot but hes a quality fighter, just how much quality he has will be founf out against JMM

cotto vs mosley II - first fight was a great fight, i scored it for shane a rematch would confirm the truw 147 kingpin

other notable fights: froch vs bute, adamek vs cunningham rematch, kirkland vs williams/angulo, valero vs diaz, clottey vs anyone else in the top 3/4, gamboa vs valero

              Mayweather vs Pacquiao/Mosley/Cotto
              Hatton vs Pacquiao
              Pavlik vs Abraham
              Haye vs Klitschko
              Cotto vs Mosley II

I would of chose either Cotto vs Mosley/Margarito II, but due to the hand wrap situation I left him out of it.

If these fights happened then it would be an excellent year of Boxing for sure... probably the best for many years to come!

correction i meant one of the greatest. and its not impossible to see a greater fight than those if the right matchups are made. al due respect to the legends but i got corrales/castillo and marquez/vasquez higher on the list than ali/frazier robinson/lamotta
