Steve USS Cunningham
I have never seen anyone who seems to care less about where a fight takes place.
Early in his career, as an undefeated prospect, he went to South Africa to fight Sebastiaan Rothmann in his backyard.
Then he gets a shot at a vacant title against Krzysztof Wlodarczyk in Poland and loses a decision (is this decision controversial? I heard it was, but I'm not sure, I haven't seen it).
Then he takes a rematch against Krzysztof Wlodarczyk and goes back to Poland to do it. He wins on points.
In his first defense, he goes to Germany to fight undefeated Marco Huck in his backyard as well.
Finally, he fights Tomasz Adamek in New Jersey, in front of a huge Polish crowd...
This guy really is a road warrior, and seems to give it his all when he fights.
Boxing needs more guys like this.
