So true... I had seen 3 fights from him so far in Puerto Rico. He got work to do. It's very important for him to grow as a boxer and don't become one dimensional. (like Kermit Cintron)

The best part is:
1) he gets hit badly first.
2) Once Roman Martinez gets rocked, he shakes it off...
3) then ROCKY comes out and beats your arse.


I hope he fights as an undercard to JUAN MA's fight in May. He did good in the undercard of Calderon vs. ... (what's the name of the huge Mexican bull that IronBoy keeps riding...??? Oh! Cazeres...) Cazeres. I am going to the fight for sure. JuanMa, IronBoy and Rocky Martinez in the same night would be awesome!!!

Rocky just needs to concentrate in what he does best and that is, Putting pressure, combination punching and going forward. Forget all this technique BS. because is hard to change a fighter after 22 fights.

I think Rockys defense is extremely beter when he is going forward, and when he is punching. he just needs to better his stance and is jab and hell do good. hell have like 5 or 6 title defenses before losing IMO. and if for some reason he improves his boxing skills and his defense dramaticlly, hell be tough to beat.

Rocky deserves it. He is very humble, and he is a hard worker, he is really loved here, because of his humbleness and care for the fans. People here really like him.

I was impressed by Cookie for the first couple rounds...He was getting off first and landing being quicker and winning all of the exchanges...He looked in top form for this fight...I think it's down playing the victory to call him ****...He was champ...and now theres a new one....

Can't believe Kenny knocked that dudes eye out!
Any way good for Rocky, I just saw the footage of the fight and even though he got rocked in the second he came back to Hurt Cook for the win and Clean KO.
I just hope he keeps learning and improving on his weaknesses.
