Result, **** fights. What can you expect?

Good Post. Being Arum's chess piece, and letting him put you anywhere he wants is only going to hurt Pavliks own career. Both Cotto and Pavlik should smarten up and leave his ass. Pac is at that point where he calls his own shots. On the other hand, Pavlik and Cotto are acting like real puppets.

Absolutely. It's not like Kelly and Loew have no clout. I mean effectively theyre a customer of Bob Arum, they're choosing to have theyre business there. You can't say I don't like this fight, and want to unify, but say or do zilch to help that happen.

Arum has jumped through hoops for other fighters to keep them, are Kelly and Loew that naive so to not realise it, what they can do.

Instead they weakly sit back saying it's not us, when it's exactly that absteining that is causing there to be no fights, that's called allowing yourself to be under the thumb of the promoter. Duh.

Anyways most are guilty of it at some points, but when you have a big name and clout, a fellow champ dying for a big unification fight it really is poor form, and bad for the sport.

I agree. Fights with Gomez and Jennings did absolutely NOTHING for Cotto or his career. it was just very poor matchmaking.

Not even Jacko Loew wants the Mora fight.

Chances are we'll still be getting it...and some people will STILL pay for it.
