    The Khan question

Still isnt answered as far as i am concerned.

I wont take it away from him, his foot work hand speed and accuracy where amazing against MAB.
But we only seen 4 and a bit rounds from him, against a man who couldnt see, in a fight that should have been stopped in the first round, and anytime MAB did land anything like a clean punch, it was clear Khan felt it.

This man is not world class and it is only a matter of time before he is exposed.

Now...i have to go pay out my bet

the win proved little. khan looked a more improved fighter and hes only going to get better under roach he has the potential to be a world class fighter however he does not have a world class chin and that will always hold him back against big hitters and better oposition

The guy was already exposed against Prescott, and nobody has even said he is world class, but he has the potential to be.

good post, sorry about the bet though.

if khan thinks that he'll go on a win a title with outstanding with someone and going to war at some point in a fight then he's wrong. granted MAB didn't really get close and a part of me thinks that's down to khan boxing well and keeoing mab at distance. but if you think that he can go his all boxing career like that then you'd be daft. eventually ( hopefully next time out ) he'll have to go toe to toe and then we'll see because we all know he'll be cabvas bound.

This is very true, khan felt what little was thrown, this fight is in desprate need of a rematch.

This fight doesn't need a rematch. I would rather see Khan go on and fight the likes of Murray, D.Diaz, or Katsidis, rather than watch an old Barrera get beat up again. Because if Barrera didn't get cut, he would still have struggled.

Khan should move on, Barrera should retire.

could you imagine a rematch!! it'll be a line up for a morales trilogy. can you see it in all seriousness?? do you think mab would be better next time?? i'm still undecided. i know the cut worked bad against him, and i know he'd have come more and more into it but khan looked good. but like someone else said, what punches mab landed rattled khan.

Did anyone else see the one punch that actually landed from MAB? It was with about 10 seconds at the end of the 2nd or 3rd round I believe. Khan's legs went jelly and he clinched MAB. The announcers immediately covered it up and yelled he was fine, but had that been the middle of the round it could have been trouble.
