Prime Mosley was never dominating at 154, prime vargas at 154 was pretty strong. I mean it took a fighter with a loaded glove to actually put a stop to him. A young Winky couldn't even officially hurt Vargas at 154.

All in all, the more I find out about Vargas, the less of a bum he looks like. He was strong, fast, and more importantly he could punch with both hands at 154. Oscar could hardly do that at 147. Oscar eventually got Floyd and turned that right hand into a weapon, but Floyd also tried to give that shoulder defense to Oscar. The only reason why that shoulder Defense works for Floyd Junior is because he's a stumpy short guy with a pea head lol, he's short and his kneck and head perfectly fold into his shoulder. Oscar tries doin that, it doesn't work cause he's too f$#%in big. Oscar tried doin it against Vargas and it didn't work for ****, Oscar's physical structure doesn't work with that kind of Defense.

But all in all, I'd bet a prime Mosley at 154 vs a prime Vargas at 154 would be a lot more competitive then most think.
